I've been on an unmentionable kick, trying to test a bunch of new gear, and getting many not-so-great shaves. Today I received an injector of the new Supply Black blades so I just had to try one out. I agree with Bryan's comments and add, the Type M is a great razor, so much so that I bought a second model, a later one that can handle the Schick twin blades. And Eric, love the map background, colorful and busy in a flattering way! Well done. No luck and I am going to put that thing away for a while to see if maybe I have better luck in the future. The shave was close and blood was drawn leading to some pretty intense irritation but a near BBS shave. The Clubman soap and aftershave were the highlights of the shave.I know I've done that and lived to regret it! This razor is more efficient than my other G by a fair bit. The Mer Shaving Fougère Orange leathered well with the RazoRock boar and paired well with the scent of the Lucky Tiger. Love that handle! Do you hear the Iwantsies screaming in my head?! Harris Arlington Razor - Unmentionable Brass Blade - USA Unmentionable Post - Cold water Rinse, TC's infused Witch Hazel Balm - Barts Balm Cinnamon & Patchouli Balm & Lotion A/S - Barbour EDT ![]() I got the clippers out this morning for my monthly mop tidy, these things are paying for themselves. Very happy with the result today. I found this Brass Unmentionable much smoother than its stainless brother so the SS version was moved on, paired with the USA Made blade it delivers a wonderfully efficient and smooth shave, no harshness whatsoever, its a pity its discontinued, i am so glad i have it in the stable. An easy face lather today and enough light citrusy scented slickness in the brush for 3 passes from very little loading. I completed 2 passes WTG-XTG mix and then an ATG pass for an easy comfortable BBS finish. The Barbour EDT is a nice splash, however, a bit too woody for the Arlington soap. I will have to remember that for future use. So, haircut, showered, shaved and ready for a family surprise birthday lunch, just need to get Our Ruby out for her walk and then get ready for some long awaited family celebration time. Stay safe and enjoy your day All. Identical to his accept mine does not say "Service Pack" just meaning it was civilian. I got a close shave in with it but noticeably more a challenge than he had. My only thought is it is difference in beard type/coarseness. NOT a pissing contest, it just is what it is. I had no trouble doing wtg and xtg but could tell it would struggle ATG. It did struggle but in the end gave a veddy nice and close shave. Blades were sealed in cellophane and in amazing condition. Thanks for dipping toes in the water and pushing me in Fuzzy Have a great day All !RE: SOTD - December 2021 - Jayaruh - 12-18-2021 ![]() Saturday's Shave ![]() Cold Water Rinse Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap Jayaruh #424 Synthetic TiBr Wabbit Personna Injector Blade 47 Unmentionable Razor Unmentionable Blade CWR Lustray Spice After Shave The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #424 Synthetic Brush. The first pass was with the TiBr Wabbit by Tom with a Personna blade. Second pass and touch ups with the 47 Unmentionable Razor with an Unmentionable Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
