The Arko Shave Stick lathered well with the SlimGem Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Taipan 3D SE Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Mennen Skin Bracer AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

For me, Injector shaves don't get any better than this, The Schick repeater is a wonderful piece engineering which i doubt could be copied today without a massive outlay to both the manufacturer and end user.
The Vintage brush and soap whipped up a great lather on the face, this old girl still has plenty of backbone with the tips still soft on the face.
I completed a 2 pass shave WTG then a XTG/ATG mix with some touch up on the whirlpools for a very comfortable BBS finish.
Finishing off with a rub of the AV Musk topped off a very nice piece of Sink time.
I do believe i enjoyed that!

Sorry if this sound like heresy, but I'm not a big fan of Gem blade or shick injector type razors. I prefer the wider Artist Club SEs.
That said, I do still have a few vintage AutoStrops:

Thursday night shave ....aka Au revoir mustache!!
Now I'm finally clean shaven and even more civilized ( @Dave in ky)once again!The beard experiment was fun and for those that may not know me , I was a loyal head and face shaver who went off the rails and grew my hair back plus a beard . Tsk tsk. My choice of weapon was the Autostroppe once again loaded with a Treet cs blade , Fine Italian citrus (old formula), Black Pearl brush( same as the one I made for Fuzzy), Dickinson witch hazel,  and lastly...Stetson. Was a late night shave hence no pic . Have a great day !
