SOTD March 2021 - Dave in KY - 03-01-2021 Monday March 1, 2021 Razor: Gem Micromatic Blade: Gem (?) Brush: Dragonsbeard Soap: Dragonsbeard V1 AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70 AS 2: Dragonsbeard Fragrance: Prada Luna Rossa Black So pulling my Micromatic out and dusting it off. This was a gift that I'm ashamed to admit I forget where it came from but I think is may have been John DeepSea My file system works fine but the retrieval system has been getting rusty. Anywho I was pulling it out to join some others using one today. I had an amazing shave with it that had me chasing the baby hard and it was caught. The Humphrey's Maravilla 70 let me know for sure I over reached in a few spots but no blood was spilled and I'm eel like slippery smooth for my efforts. This scent is one of if not my GOAT. I don't have the EDP but it pairs VERY well with the Prada Luna Rossa Black. I hit the EDP HARD and I am definitely "That Guy" today. Hey, everyone I come into contact with today......as DangerousDon would say, "YOU'RE WELCOME" !!!! Have a stupid Fun Day Everyone !!!RE: SOTD March 2021 - Jayaruh - 03-01-2021 (03-01-2021, 11:29 AM)Dave in KY Wrote: Nice looking MMCP. Spring is not far away now. I love the audio feedback of these razors especially on the baton handles. RE: SOTD March 2021 - Dave in KY - 03-02-2021 Tuesday March 2, 2021 Razor: Gem G3 Blade: Gem (?) Brush: Sorrentino Sea Foam Soap: Honeybee Cucumber Melon AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70 AS 2: Skin Bracer Fragrance: NPY Honeybee soaps is one of the Original 3 Sue's of soap making. Honeybee Soaps, St Charles Shave and Mama Bears with Honeybee being that last of the 3 Sue's to cease making when she passed away. I LOVE this scent and wish I had a full tub. It's just a small amount I moved to a smaller tub left and will be the next soap I'll focus on finishing. It will probably be replaced with Green Fresh from Ethos when done. Great shave with the G3. This came in my boxed set with the Metal handle and the box states Metal on it. I acquired another with no box that had the Bakelite handle. Both shave the same obviously but like Fuzzy I preferred the feel of the Bakelite when I used it today. Topped off with Skin Bracer and enjoying the powdery goodness. Have a great day Guys and Gals !! RE: SOTD March 2021 - Tony'schin - 03-02-2021 02/03/21 Shower

Balm: TC's Orange and Neroli infused Argan Oil / E45 mix

![]() When things come together, well, they just come together and perform. Today was one of those days.
1st time i have tried the IKON handle on the General V2 head, i like it, for me, much better than the original V2 handle.
A wonderful lather mixed up in the little Turkish copper bowl with the SBB wall of badger, i had enough for 4 passes.
I completed a 3 pass shave for a BBS comfortable result.
A very nice post shave finishing with a couple of squirts of the Copycat on the neck pulse points.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All.

I'd like to get one of the Blue Baton handles too. I don't personally care for the green or brown I've seen but if I saw one cheep in the wild I'd probably pick it up. |
