New brush handle in the Den thanks to FLUFFY!!!!!! - Wchnu - 12-28-2021

I was very surprised last week to get this copper beauty in from Fluffy. I am going to start a new thread here as the adventure to get a knot in it starts. This handle feels great in my hand and has a magnetic base. I have not measured the openikng to see what size knot is needed.

What is everyone going to put in theirs???

My Fluffy 86 took a 24 mm but I think the one you have may also take a bigger one. I have a Maggards Mix 70/30 in a similar one to yours and think they were 26 but not sure.

I received the 86 S version, and it takes a 24mm. I plan on using an AP Shave Co Luxury bulb (mixed). The bulb is currently touring the state (misdirected, USPS said). Maybe today?

I have an early version, one that does not have a magnetic base. It is already a collectors item that only Sotheby's is equipped for selling!

My RT. 66 version has a little over 25 mm opening which will be perfect for a 24mm knot. I'm torn on what to put in it but am leaning towards boar or horse.

Here is my handle taking advantage of the magnificent magnetic base for a sideways mounted picture.

I'm glad all of you guys like them. Hope you enjoy using them. As much as I enjoyed making them.

For those of you wishing to take advantage of the “Magic Magnetic” brush hanging system. Of the Fluffy Industries line of brush handles.
This is what’s in my den. Recently widened to make room for another row of brushes.
The slot for my glass shelf can accommodate the piece of 26 gauge galvanized duct metal.
I put “returns” on the three sides not slotting into the bracket. That takes care of the sharp edges. And gives the piece sufficient rigidity for when you remove the brushes. For it not to flex.
My other brushes I’ve just used magnets from the Depot. That come with 3M adhesive fasteners so they can hang like my more modern handles.
