Here is the Type G with the amber handle
There was no blade loaded. When I added a Ted Pella, it went in with no effort. This is alarming to my injector knowledge. Shouldn't it have been difficult to put in a blade in an empty injector? It seems secure, but I am worried about shaving with it. Can it be tightened? Maybe I need to correspond with the seller and see if he forced the blade out without using a key.
Any tips or stories regarding similar situations that may have been encountered would be appreciated.
Thanks folks!

I believe you have a Canadian type E there. No Eversharp on the spring and the case is right for an E. No grooves on the safety bar, so Canadian E2 is how I would describe it. I don't know much about the Canadian models though, and there ain't much out there on them.
I gave my opinion on you amber G in the other forum across the road.

Is there a date on the bottom of the E case?

No date on the bottom of the case, nor inside it. Thanks for the useful info!

Thanks! The amber G needed some corrective therapy! Whiterook pointed out the spring looked loose, so I applied ever so carefully with the razor cushioned by a cloth some pressure with a needle nose pliers, and got the blade rattle to stop. Both got to shave 1 cheek each and did well! However, I noticed that the amber G's head is almost in the plane with the handle, so more therapy is needed. I will have my other injectors there for both moral support and for getting the right angle.

The case is really great...cool design. I really like the amber handles as well. You've got some nice gear.
