I had a very enjoyable shave today with the Ever-Ready 1914. I'm actually a bit jealous of Old Sarge's 1914 with the cool steam punk bare brass. I don't want to remove good plating from this one but I will have to look at my collection and see if I have any razors that have questionable plating that I don't mind removing.

Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

Much cheaper than Thayers up here in Canada. Found the extra strength at Wal mart over here. If I could ship a bottle across the border to you I would. Let me know how your search goes .

Pre - Shower, Cold water face rinse Brush - Semogue SOC TAJ Boar Soap - OSP Dark Matter Razor - Unmentionable Blade - Nothing to see here Post - Cold water Rinse, TC's infused Witch Hazel Balm - Barts Balm Amber and Moroccan Jasmine Balm & Lotion A/S - CK Be ![]() I love the look and feel of this Bronze unmentionable, however, for me its a strange razor, i do believe because of the small blade gap i have been subconsciously using too much pressure, this, together with the weight has sometimes left me with a bit irritation on my cheeks. It sort of sneaks up giving no indication of how efficient it actually is. I really wanted to tame it so today i was very mindful and took my time, using short strokes and letting the razor do the work i am so glad i did, probably the best shave i have had with this wonderfully made razor, rewarding me with a very close comfortable finish. Princess Mary tin Stay safe and enjoy your day All

Sounds great! I'll have to keep my eye out for it in the wild. Thanks! Thayers ain't so cheap this side of the border either! I can see a few places to order it online. I would prefer to find it local in the wild. Thanks! (thumbs up emoji here)
