Shave 20 with this Gem SS PTFE blade was completed with the British Ever-Ready 1912. Sterling Executive man was whipped up with my Zenith Boar to a wonderful lather and Pinaud Lilac Vegital with a little Thayers aftershave balm finished things off. I usually get 10 to 13 shaves out of one of these blades. I'm getting curious as to how many I can actually get from this one.

Thursday's Shave
Cold Water Rinse
START Shave Cream
Jayaruh #1 Silvertip Badger
Unmentionable Razor
Unmentionable Blade
CWR
Pinaud Clubman AS
The START Shave Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #1 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Unmentionable Razor with an Unmentionable Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Very cool, Dave. Looks like you have your share of the ShakeSharps. I have yet to find one. BTW, cold water rocks.

Pre-shave: Warm water
Lather: Hendrix Classics & Co Emperor of Oud
Brush: Jayaruh #287
Razor: Yaqi Excalibur v3
Blade: Kai Captain Titan ProTouch MG (1)
Post-shave: Not needed
I just received a bunch of packages today, including a few things from Yaqi and some samples from Hendrix Classics & Co. The samples are Badass, Emperor of Oud, and Havana Breeze. Pete from HC&C suggested I tr6 EoO first since I haven't tried an oud-based scent before. He was absolutely right that it is amazing! What a fragrance! I have a full-sized tub of Badass so I'm already familiar with what great soap it is. Great scent strength and slickness. Definitely one of my favorite artisan brands.
One of the Yaqi items was an Excalibur Artist Club razor. This was my first AC shave and boy was it good. I had a normal three-pass shave that ended as a DFS+. I was hesitant to take it any further with aggressive pickups and I think that was the right choice. The post-shave alum stick rub revealed ZERO irritation. I chose the blade completely at random from a sampler pack of Feather and Kai blades. This was either complete beginner's luck or I really do just favor SE shaves, regardless of which type it is. I couldn't be more satisfied right now. Happy shaves all!
