Not sure how that would impact the top of the handle securing the blade against the top of the head? I vaguely recall reading a post maybe by twhite where he used a shim as there was some issue with the material wearing. Every time I tighten the handle, in the back of my mind I think...not too tight. It would be interesting to know how this 3D printed material holds up over time.
I don't have that particular razor so I didn't think of the blade clamping. But now I remember you said the thread from the handle is Involved in the blade clamping. The o-ring idea might not work then. I had one 3D printed razor wear out but I used it a lot and it was a lower quality print a friend did for free so not a good measure of durability.
