The first shave with a G type was a totally different experience, one because it is such a small razor by comparison and two it is much more efficient (in a good way).
I'm looking forward to securing a Type E or G at some point and enjoying that more efficient shave! There was a Type E I believe, with a butterscotch handle in the tan leather case (20 year warrantee?), but it was in a glass case with a $32 tag. I had already found the Type J, so I'll wait until I go back to take a look.
I found a cleaner replacement for my current G4 which is entirely serviceable and really not that bad. It just isn't shiny like new. I can send it your way if you're interested in trying it.
