This is as far as you tear down a Timex for cleaning and oiling. You use synthetic lubricants and little spatulas to apply oil. Alot of people me included have tried just spraying oil on a movement. Can do that it will immediately stop you must be precise and different gears use different oil weights. I only use two on my Timex a standard duty syntalube and a light synescape for the escape wheel. Had to take some crown and hand gears off a junk movement. The minute hand gear had teeth rusted off and the crown gear had teeth worn away.
