Derby City Chop Shop "Winter Reserve" After Shave

The De Vergulde Hand Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #449 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the SHaDE-Matic razor and the Half Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Derby City Chop Shop "Winter Reserve" After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

What's the wire on the razor???
Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

The flat spring for the top cap was broken when I got the set.  A Newbie mistake of mine but you live and learn.
So I looked at it and figured out how the original tensioning worked.  I took a small paper clip and wound it around and through the top cap and Voila - fixed.  It snaps open and closed and holds the blade snug.
