When I click on "View today's posts" why is there a little green bug in front of some posts. Also I don't always get alerts to new posts in threads I'm following.??

My read ones sometimes still show as unread till I leave the site and return, even if I refresh too.

The green bug is on my threads, just because.

I don't always get alerts either, but I always go to "view todays posts".
Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

I occasionally hit the back button but I usually go through all the allerts to be sure if someone responded/quoted a post. Then I double check the veiw today's posts and new posts tab.

The alert system is a plugin. It’s not the best… but the best we have. Lol.

It's not a big deal. I've learned to just check and double check to be sure I didn't miss anything.

Yes, but I hit the refresh or click on the forum to restart and it'll still show an unread. I think Wchnu is correct, it wasn't until the last week or so that it started acting up. Might be TobyC  Big Grin
