Smile Smile  I like it Toby,
There will be some weird SOTD photos this month as i will be using a good few unmentionables, i still want to participate on the forum, therefore some silly stuff will be added instead of SE's.

I like this idea!

Cold Water Shave
Pre: Neutrogena Soap Face Wash, Noxzema Cream as Pre Shave
Razor: Ever-Ready 1914 (Little Lather Catcher)
Blade: Gem SS PFTE (9)
Brush: Omega 10049 Pro Boar
Soap: Proraso Green Soap
Post: Osma Alum Block, T.N. Dickinson’s Witch Hazel, Pinaud Clubman Lime Sec, Nivea Sensitive Balm

I want to thank both GAW9576 and TobyC for providing me guidance on adjusting the rear spring on the ER 1914 so that the blade would align correctly. I was good to go today!

Had a very enjoyable 2.5 pass shave. Despite trying to earn some irritation by over-shaving, I got away with it today! As I get better with the easy parts of the shave, I keep trying to improve upon my trouble spots. Added a bit of ATG to my mustache area.

It's too early to tell, but the ER 1914 is giving the Damaskeene a run for its money as my favorite razor.

BTW...if anyone uses witch hazel and lives near a Publix, they have T.N. Dickinson's on sale from $3.99 to $2.99. It has a bit of a strong smell that takes a minute to get used to, but I might prefer it to Thayers for how it makes my skin feel.

Vintage 1936 Gold Plated Open Comb TTO super snooty unmentionable
Modified vintage Frankenbrush
Feather
Sterling Bay Rum soap
Pinaud Lilac Vegetal

Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.
