I just received my first Damaskeene from the world-renowned Dave in KY!!
If I can hold out to Sunday, this and the GEM Jr are on deck for the week, with maybe a Flying Wing zooming in.

That's a great looking Damaskeene, @MaineYopper! I'm sure you will find it to be one of your finest shavers.

That word enable can be both good and bad! My razor collection has exploded as well. They are such amazing tools.
Folks here are so generous, not only just with sharing of shaving gear, but even more so with the sharing of knowledge, experience and patience in helping all of us to further our skills and enjoyment of this hobby! I've learned so much and it's starting to come together in my shaves.

I did not know what all the fuss was about until I got my own. Now I have three or four. Very nice razors indeed.

Question for ya'll. I have a Damaskeene but don't recall ever using it. Any tips/tricks I should know before embarking in it's use?

Well, I've grown to really like my Damaskeene. Pretty easy to shave with. The only issue I have is getting right under my nose. Other than that, easy peasy.
