Friday's Shave
[Image: zcws.jpg]

Cold Water Rinse
Mystic Water Cedar & Sage Shave Soap
Jayaruh #144 Finest Badger
Raptor 3D
Personna GEM SS PTFE
CWR
Cella ASB

Day 5 of 3D Printed Razor Month.

The Mystic Water Cedar & Sage Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #144 Finest Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Raptor 3D Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Cella ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

If these were the only razors you could get, i would not be disappointed, i have just had another very acceptable shave with this mild, "vintage" razor. I still need to perfect the angle over and under the chin, saying that, a DFS++ comfortable finish.
The blade is holding up well with no change in feel at all.

Not looking forward to tonight, bloody fireworks and my Ruby don't go together, she is in for a real stressful night.

Stay safe and enjoy your day All

Razor: Feather Single II 400S-1B Injector Razor
Blade: Feather Single Sputtom Injector blade
Brush: Elite Razor Kingman Turquoise, Manchurian White fan
Pre-Shave: Proraso White
Lather: Shannon's Soaps Indigo Oud
Aftershave: Pinaud Lilac Vegetal
Additional Care:
Thayers Facial Tonic Witch Hazel Unscented
  Imperial Leather Talcum Powder

This razor appears to be a Schick type O head mated with a type L handle.  It feels good in the hand and isn't really any more homely looking than the type O.  I have never used a Feather injector blade before, so it is hard to compare the razor.  The shave was smooth and very close.  One pass would have sufficed for any work environment, but I completed my usual three pass shave.  The Indigo Oud lathers well and filled the room with a pleasant scent of sawn hardwood.

Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

Nice looking shave, TobyC! Love that green baton handle and also love the brush! Is the boar knot original?

How does the shave compare between the Treet w/ baton handle vs. the Gem Jr. w/ baton handle or any of the other closed comb 1912 style razor? Is the solid bar on the Treet unique to the 1912 style razors?
