After some advice from Toby C and reading some of the post he linked plus this one   http://forum.shavemyface.com/viewtopic.p...mega+31064 which was linked inside that thread I had way better luck try my RazoRock boar with Tabac today. I used an unmentionable which was inspired buy a recent acquisition of SQRShaver. It's a mild but effective enough razor and I ended up with a very comfortable very adequate shave. So thanks Toby C

To late.   But don't worry it's a razor I already had and enjoy on occasion. I MOSTLY shave with mentionables but I have a fair amount of unmentionables that I pepper int the mix on occasion. The peppering was overdue.

I have not posted here in too long here are a couple of really nice shaves. The first was vintage Colgate with a MM and MM Double edge blade. Fantastic shave.


Next up A new fangled shave with old school results. The Challenger Shade razor and White Star shave stick.

Again with the White Star but this time with the mug soap and a 1907ish ER. Again great shave.

I had an excellent shave this morning with a Gem 1912, fresh Gem SS PTFE, LaToja, and an Omega boar. The lather today was even better than yesterday and I'm very glad I figured out the issues I had been having with boar brushes. Today's watch is the Casio G-Shock DW 5600E. And today's shave was also inspired by SRQShavers recent acquisition.

Day 8 of 3D Printed Razor Month.

The Kiss My Face Shave Cream lathered well with the Oscar11 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Darwin-Stoll Jr. 3D Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Those handles come with a dark color on them, did you polish it off or you got it that way?
