So is the dragonsbeard a Dragons blood scented product? Or is it just a cool name?
The owner of Ethos has just always liked dragons and it was his initial scent he came up with. No not dragons blood scent. You can Google it to get the scent notes as I don't have them handy.
Darn. I would like to find a good Dragons blood scent soap.

DecemBoar 4th
Razor: Schick Type G
Blade: sChick (11)
Soap: Stirling Sheep
Brush: Semogue Galahad
My avatar shows Cary Grant as Mr. Blandings shaving with what many believe to be a Type G. After finding how much I enjoyed the Type I Hydro-magic, and being a huge Cary Grant fan, I had to try the Type G. And am I glad I did! Below is a 2-3 minute clip from the movie, and Mr. Blandings gives short ode to the wonders of a single edge steel blade!

What a great clip, Eric! They must have had such fun shooting those scenes! Me thinks Wchnu would approve of Cary Grant's face lathering...no butter cream there!

Festival of Feather Weights! (Day 6 of 7)
DE-less-cemBoar (™ Wchnu)
Cold Water Shave w/ Hot Water Lather
Pre - Aloe Vera Glycerin Soap Face Wash, Noxzema Cream as Pre Shave
Razor - Gem Gen. I Feather Weight Deluxe
Blade - Gem SS PTFE (9th Use)
Brush - Omega Pro 49 Boar
Lather - Arko, Face Lathered
Post - Generic Reformed Alum Block, T.N. Dickinson’s Witch Hazel, Skin Bracer, Nivea Sensitive Cooling Balm
For the most part, looks like I've got the hang of shaving with a Gen I Feather Weight. A successful two pass shave left me feeling much more confident with this razor. Much more of a smooth shave today. One more day to go until the end of this festival.
I had a real good experience face lathering Arko. While it's a shaving soap that finds itself the butt of bathroom jokes, I find it produces a rather nice lather. I know some are not please with the scent, but I'm OK with it.
The Omega 49 with two rubber o-rings in place has just the right amount of backbone. It always was a good brush for painting, but now it does the job splayed out. Below is an image of the brush in post shave just after towel stropping.

Thanks. I'm considering picking up the horse in the future.

I had another wonderful Williams shave today complete with an Aqua Velva after shave splash.
The Zenith Boar whips up such a fantastic lather with Williams. And Aqua Velva is such a great compliment to Williams. It's almost like they were made for each other (which they were). The 1887 Kamphe Brothers Star is a very effective razor when the blade is set forward a bit. This is my first adjustable Lather catcher. I spent a bit more time stopping the wedge blade today and was rewarded with a smoother shave. I look forward to improving on this even more as I go forward.
