How is the Peerless distinguished from a standard 1912. I thought it was a handle with a diamond pattern like the one on the right in this picture.

Actually I should change that description in my Shave Buddy app.   Based on an advertisement it is the Peerless set, not the razor itself.  Sorry for the confusion!

US made.   The other set that looks similar is Nu Metal, but that just doesn't sound right.  I know that handle was introduced in 1927, so it is a later model and not marked Damaskeene.
