DE-less-cemBoar! (™ Wchnu)
Cold Water Shave w/ Hot Water Lather
Pre - Aloe Vera Glycerin Soap Face Wash, Noxzema Cream as Pre Shave
Razor - SCS Kampfe Bros Lather Catcher
Blade: Gem SS PTFE (2nd Use)
Brush - Omega Pro 49 Boar
Lather - Wickham Soap Co (Classic 24), Face Lathered
Post - Generic Reformed Alum Block, Thayers Unscented Witch Hazel, Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue, Nivea Sensitive Cooling Balm
Another good day shaving, two passes with just a hint of irritation that was negated post shave. The Wickham soap lathered up so easily using the Omega 49 boar. I had more than enough lather if I had wanted a third pass. I went back to the Thayers witch hazel today and I still prefer the Dickinson's. I think the main difference is that Thayers is alcohol free, while Dickinson's has 14% alcohol.
A couple of weeks back, my SCS Lather Catcher branded Wilbert Cutlery Co, Chicago went on a trip to a person who actually lives in Chicago. It came back to me branded Kampfe Bros, New York. It also came back with a buddy (unmentionable), which I will be shaving with tomorrow.

However household matters outside the shave den were continually detracting me. I will have to come back to these razors soon and give them both another chance to shine.
Sorry to hear Greg and hope the distractions settled down and improved afterwards.
A good conversation with my wife and son cleared up aal the drama and the rest of the night went quite well.

It is great. Just stays on that GEM Junior Bar head...for now.

I had a nice mild shave with an unmentionable today. I don't use unmentionables very often these days but couldn't resist pairing this particular one with the Zenith Boar today. They have both developed a beautiful and very similar patina. Wish you could see the two together.
The LaToja neck lathered fantastically with this beautiful boar.

That's were it was when it was in my den. Glade you like it. It was one of my favorite handles and I plan on making myself another some time. Maybe I'll make a few all a similar shape but from different acrylics each.

Oooooo. I like that mod. I want a head similar to that for my Durham that I modified to be a single edge. I prefer the width of an injector to the width of an AC. Whenever I shave with an AC I feel like I'm plowing my driveway with the front end loaders they use on a runway at the airport.

It is literally the same as an injector size wise. Just has the 2 holes instead of slots. I made a jig that punches the holes accurately.
