Menthol Monday's Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Fine Snake Bite Shave Soap
Tom's Brush B-3 Badger
Unmentionable Slant Razor by Tom
Unmentionable Stainless
CWR
Osage Rub

This week, I am using two more of Tom White's creations: Tom's B-3 Badger Brush and Tom's Unmentionable Slant Razor.

The Fine Snake Bite Shave Soap lathered well with Tom's Brush B-3 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Unmentionable Slant Razor by Tom with an Unmentionable Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Ride the cap!!  Master that and then experiment with angle.

I used to have trouble with that one, too. Like most all Gem and Every-ready razors, put the head flat on your face. That will tame your shave. The angle is built into the razor. If you feel tempted to increase the angle then only do it very slightly. The more the angle --- the angrier the shave.

It is always an "event" when i pull out this unmentionable, for me, he surely is my most aggressive razor, using good, mindful technique it can be used without issue.
Today a careful 2 pass shave has left me with a very close finish with a little indication from the splash, all in all a very good shave.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All.
