Thursday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Archaic Eureka Shave Soap
Jayaruh #30 Silvertip Badger
King Cobra AC Razor
Feather Professional
Dickinson's Lemongrass Witch Hazel

The Archaic Eureka Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #30 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the King Cobra AC Razor and a Feather Professional Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Lemongrass Witch Hazel. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thursday Morning Shave Brouhaha

Fourth shave on the Feather Blade and it was fine.  I've read these don't last long or are rough but I haven't found that to be the case so far.  Not as smooth as a GEM PTFE but few blades are.
Ever-Ready Pure Badger was a BANGER.

Valet VC2 Razor (Un-modified)
Feather FS-10 Blade (4X)
Taylor of Old Bond Street Royal Forest Cream
Ever-Ready K40 Pure Badger Vintage Brush
Proraso Red Splash On
Strike Gold Shave Nostalgia Aftershave

More like a Lather Catcher.  Does the design cause more blade chatter?  Does it sing like a lather catcher?

I didn't notice any chatter or singing.

Friday Morning Merriment

Quick shave and the Hawk V3A was like a Maserati on Nitro.  A little dab of Proraso on a vintage Boar produced enough lather for two passes and a face wash.  Overall great result.

Razorock Hawk V3A Razor
Kai Protouch MG Blade (6X)
Proraso Blue Shave Cream
Ever-Ready H40 Vintage Boar Brush
Williams Aqua Velva Splash
Proraso Aftershave Balma

Saturday Morning Salutations

Eighth use on the GEM PTFE blade in the Empire and it was very good.  After the shave I increased the blade exposure by about a quarter turn (you don't need much on the Empire) to give a bit more blade feel on future uses.  I really love the little Made-Rite boar.  It is so velvety soft but did need to go back to the puck a few swirls between passes.

GEM SS PTFE Blade (8X)
Lisa's Natural Herbal Creations Orange Clove & Cedarwod Soap
Made-Rite No. 52 Pure Badger Brush
Apex Alchemy Splash mix
