I tried the same, but I had a problem making the threads, so I did a trade with him. I cut the handle off and sent it to him. He did the rest. He threaded the handle and made two screw studs that will accommodate most Gems and Ever-Readys.

Lather Catcher Sunday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Musgo Real Shave Soap
Jayaruh #4 Badger
Superior Lather Catcher
Personna GEM SS PTFE
CWR
Lustray Spice AS

The Musgo Real Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #4 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Superior Lather Catcher and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

ER Lather Catcher with 1912ish metal handle. This razor was a suprise gift from our Fuzzy. It was my first and favourite Lather Catcher. Kind of a shave defining razor!
Brush by Jayaruh, this brush is another Masterpiece that Jim, Jayaruh made for me. It's a copy of a Civil War Shaving Brush....It's my favourite brush in the World...Jayaruh is a wonderful Artist!

Nice shave. I like that scuttle too. You got a side view if it? I really like the looks of that brush. I will have to make me one once I am healed up and it gets a bit warm.

I like that handle. I got Jim to make me a couple beautiful wood handles for it...One is a counterfeit 1907 type, the other a larger really beautiful white one. I switch around for variety...But that original 1912ish handle feels perfect actually...nice weight and thickness...AND ORIGINAL...that's priceless.

Razor: Torrey No. 1 Lather Catcher
Blade: Feather Professional  AC
Brush: Rudy Vey 2022 B & B Contributor Brush
Pre-Shave: Proraso Green
Lather: Caswell-Massey Number Six
Aftershave: Proraso Green Splash
Additional Care:
Thayers Facial Tonic Witch Hazel Unscented

I have been wanting to shave with this razor ever since I bought it months ago, but it is too wide for a standard blade.  I cut an AC blade to size and fashioned an adapter from one of those flexible plastic rulers.  It needs more work, but I decided to give it a try today.  It was a mild shave with lots of feedback.  Perhaps the blade needs to come forward a bit.  I made my third ATG pass with my Parker Injector.

Heart Heart Heart I've seen one or to up for sale and was stunned at how beautiful the Torrey LCs are. Do you happen to know how many models there were?
