Schicktember 2020
#1
Greetings all -- I thought I'd create this thread for those who are looking to focus and feature their Schicks during SEptember with a "Schicktember".  There's no need to exclusively focus on Schicks (which includes Eversharp, and let's include the Schick-inspired Pal Injectomatics); but when you do shave with a Schick, feel free to post it here!  My plan is to kick this off tomorrow with the first "Schick", the good Colonel's original Magazine Repeating Razor (the Type A).

Not sure, but the pic came through as an attachment....beautiful Type C!!!

Here's my first shave Schicktember....as promised...the Magazine Repeating Razor (aka Schick Type A):

The soap was Meissner Tremonia's Dark Lime and the brush is Elite Razor's Badger in a (real stone) Lapis Lazuli handle.  The Schick is sporting a Schick Proline blade that I hand loaded.

I have a number of Schicks in my SEptember lineup. I hope I remember to post them here.

This posting is a day late, but the shave was too good to let it slide by.  Yesterday's Schicktember razor was a Schick Type B (not sure which one it is).  I do have a boxed B1, but this is particular razor is a great user.  The soap was SV Manna di Sicilia, and the brush was a C-Mon "redux" by Heritage.

I guess I'm following @Flintstone65 lead in more than one way. A Schick type B shave and posting a day late. Overall a great shave. I only wish the handle had a little bit more grip. Some Gunstock style checkering would be sweet on these razors.

Schicktember continues....so far it's been an A, B, and now a C...or more specifically, a C1.  I'm partial to open combs, so the Schick C1 is a favorite of mine. The blade for the Schick was a Proline B, the brush was the Yaqi Mew Brown synth in a purple haze handle, and the cream was a newly found (by me at least) Portuguese wonder cream, the Antiga Barbearia de Bairro Ribeira. A very close and very comfortable shave!!!
