I got an unmentionable in a pif that I converted to a SHaDE razor (Single edge Half DE). It was in its former life a Russian OC razor. I removed one comb and now it is a SHaDE razor. I love it. I just finished a week with it.

Soooooo. What holds the half blade tight? If the blade does not have the holes for the post.

Yep, it holds tight. I get great shaves with it. You just push the blade back against the posts and tighten it down.
