I don't know if you fellas ever noticed, but he always carried what appears to be a US made 30/40 Krag rifle.
Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

Yep, I had an 1898 30/40 Krag Rifle, wish I had it back.

I have one 1898 rifle with a 1904 rebuild marking. I also have reloading dies for 30-40, but I can't go to the range until this plague is done.

I reloaded mine and cast the gas checked bullets, all that stuff is gone now though.
