The only witch hazel I've used is a generic store brand that doesn't smell very nice. I've only used it a few times. I generally go with an alum stick but will try some better witch hazel if I ever happen to see it somewhere. I've just recently started using aftershave again for the first time in decades so between alum and aftershave I'm not sure I need anything else.

I may buy these. They have other things as well, mists and towelettes. But as of now, I have a Stirling balm (no alcohol) that works really well, and a post-shave balm from Zingari Man that is also outstanding. Both are unscented, so right up my scentsless alley!
I think I recall GAW9576 using one of these products in a SotD this month. But, don't bet the house on my memory!

I use Thayers and Dickenson everyday------------one or the other!!

I use it after every shave. let it dry while i clean my razor and brush. Then apply my AS. I have 2 gallons of unbranded.

Today, I did what twhite did. I used Humphrey's after my final rinse, then I cleaned my tools and put them away. Finally, I finished off with the Granddad's Blend AS. That worked out pretty well.
