Witch Hazel...What Say You?
#1
[Image: 211129-Witch-Hazel.jpg]

I've really come to enjoy the witch hazel part of my post shave quite a bit. I started using Thayers first, as I got one unscented and one lavender for a good price on sale at a local grocery store. I've got the lavender stashed for the future. Later on I picked up the T. N. Dickinson's on sale at the same store. Initially, I wasn't to sure about the scent of the Dickinson's. However, over time, I've come to enjoy the Dickinson's over the Thayers and fully embrace the scent. I'm not sure why, but the Dickinson's feels better on the face...almost thicker. Not sure how to describe the sensation. I enjoy it so much that I've started to go for a second splash after the first dries off. While the Thayers almost feels watered down.

Do I have a problem?  Big Grin

I have used Thayers, Dickenson various flavors, and Humphrey's WH. It is an extra step I have eliminated. From time to time, I will use the WH. My wife likes it for her face.

I use Thayers unscented, alcohol free everyday. I know it helps because there is no burn to the aftershave, which goes on after the Thayers drys down. I have also had it seal minor weepers. I'm a believer!

I've only used the Thayers with cucumber scent and the Thayers after shave balm with WH and aloe. I really like both. If I see others for a reasonable price when I'm ready to buy more I will probably try them.

Nope no problem. I use WH for my touchup pass. I have preached it for years. For me whatever the cheapest store brand is. Currently I been able to get some from Dollar Tree. Dollar a bottle rocks. I prefer the regular stuff with alcohol over the Thayers personally.
Happy shaves to ya!

Exactly the same here! I also have the Original as well. Does the trick for me after a less than stellar shave! I just checked out the official site, and they make a shave balm as well as some other goodies to look into. I shall spy them out and report back!

I may buy these. They have other things as well, mists and towelettes. But as of now, I have a Stirling balm (no alcohol) that works really well, and a post-shave balm from Zingari Man that is also outstanding. Both are unscented, so right up my scentsless alley!

I think I recall GAW9576 using one of these products in a SotD this month. But, don't bet the house on my memory! Big Grin
