Lather Catcher Sunday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap
Jayaruh #426 Synthetic
Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher
Personna GEM SS PTFE
CWR
Lucky Tiger After Shave

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #426 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher Razor and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lucky Tiger After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I went with vintage Williams mug soap whipped up with my modified Omega boar for shave 35 with the Bunny V2.2. This is shave 28 with the Personna 74 loaded. Aqua Velva is always a good finishing touch for a Williams shave.

Shave of the Week Starting 3 July 2023

Star razor
Gem Stainless blade
Franken brush
Mama Bear's Lime Ice Shave Stick
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
Various A/S

Couldn't decide which brush I wanted to use this week so I'll alternate these two. The Franken brush is an "old" VDH badger brush handle with a TGN Silvertip knot. VDH had badger brushes back in the day but they were really bad, the knot sucked but I like the handle so I changed knots and now it's a good one. Just don't use natural brushes that much anymore. Maybe time to change my approach. The other brush is and APShave Co synthetic with a cashmere knot.  The Mama Bear Lime Ice Shave Stick works very well and is frigid! The Star razor is a great one for me, always a smooth/comfortable/effective shave that I like. So my face is happy. Go enjoy your day folks.
