I like the look of the original and the 66 best.

So One Vote for The Rt 66. Dave likes the 86. Thanks for the feed back. GAW9576

They all do look very cool. I really like the brass and copper together also but I think the proportions of the original and 66 look better to me.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions.
My Oumo knots order from AliExpress arrived today.
I think I did all the possible combinations for these knots and handles without putting the synthetic in the horn handle. Although it actually looks good in the horn I just can't bring myself to put a synthetic knot in the horn. It just seems wrong. The 3 knots are 24mm and are a boar, a horse and a synthetic.
The last picture is of a 30mm Boar in the other horn and wood handle. None of them are glued in yet. I look forward to getting them glued up and trying them out once I can decide which belongs where.

So what do you guys think.

A.
B.
C.
D.

And here is a bonus close up of the tips of the Boar which look to already be splitting.

I lean towards A or B but obviously it's your preference that matters

I am leaning towards 2 of the choices but want to see what some opinions are without knowing which they are.

A side note, the Ruger handle is the end of a scope that my son broke. When life hands you lemons..... Smile

Most definitely "D". The synthetic with the white top looks like a dust brush that you would use for a camera or a scope. The horse hair goes well with horn. I mean horses - cowboys - cows/bulls. Then the boars hair is stiff and ruff and the brass/copper pipe is hard and very industrial. I also like that there is a hint or just a little solder sticking out of the joint of the two pieces. Any of the three I would be proud to own.

Damn you. Now I'm going to start looking at what I can turn into shaving brushes.
