First shave with the witch went well. A bit chattery in the blade would be my only complaint but still a great shave. I did one extra mod on the gem blade. The corners of the blade stuck out a bit. So I took a coarse knife sharpening stone and did a quick scrape of the blade corners to round them. After all we don't want to look like we fought a bob cat right fuzzy lol. It's williams Wednesday so I used that blue samhain paa star jelly and a first use modded gem blue star blade. No irritation or bleeders bbs. It felt kind of like a lather catcher in the shave except more chattery than a kampfe. I'd highly suggest picking up a witch.

If I see another as cheap as the one I missed, I'll get it and give it a go. The 2 up now are too high. Looks like it curves the blade up instead of straight or down. Looks like a rough shaver. Thanks for the write up and pics !

Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

It's actually a gentle shaver but still efficient
