I feel with you.
My cat died almost 3 weeks ago, aged 16 or 17. We had her since she was 2.
Luckily we didn't have to take her to the vet, she died at home in our arms.
I'm still heartbroken, but we'll get another rescue cat next week.
We always said this would be our last cat, but then the opportunity came our way without us looking for it.
The new cat will not replace our beloved one, she will be a new adventure.
