Clauss Automatic Safety Razor

The Clauss Automatic is a very interesting razor.
It's the earliest TTO razor I know of.

There are two patent dates on the head:
Oct 15, 1906, which is this patent:

Then there is Sept 28, 1905.
This is not a valid US patent date and I checked all non-US patents I could find, that were issued on that date.
None of them is for a razor.
