I don't tell people what to do. Do what you want. I was hesitant to use 2 blades but you can't even tell when you do and are shaving. I wouldn't say something isn't right with it as the 2 blades is probably closer to the thickness of the blades in it's day. I find the MK-1 more blade feel than the MK-2.
