Soap: Williams Mug Shaving Soap
Razor: Ever Ready HFT Natural Angle
Blade: GEM Stainless PTFE (5)
Post shave: Cold water splash ,TC's Infused Witch Hazel
Balm: Gucci by Gucci A/S Balm
Aftershave: Williams Aqua Velva
A very nice shave today with the Ever-Ready Heavy Flat Top, just a joy to use, i was lucky to pick this one up NOS, it shaves like a dream.
I loaded the little Vulfix heavy with the Williams, building up a pseudo-lather in the soap dish before moving to bowl lathering in the Heavyweight Copper Captains Choice resulting in a wonderfully creamy slick face covering. It takes a little more work, however, the rewards are worth it. YMMV of course.
3 full passes followed for a comfortable BBS, i did feel a little irritation after the XTG pass on the cheeks, although, i think this was down to poor angle, it quickly went after the post shave cold water splash and witch hazel rub.
A nice post shave without any noticeable indication from the splash, all in all a very nice shave.
