Blade: Schick (?)
Brush: Unbranded Burma Shave Boar (My 1st Brush bought in 1979)
Soap: Vintage Williams
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Vintage Aqua Velva
Fragrance: Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb

I was fortunate to pick one of these up at a reasonable price versus the Stupid Money they go for at times and I LOVE it. Always have when seen in others shave of the day pics ( Looking especially at you Matt @120inna55 who takes crazy good photos) and even more after getting it and enjoying the shaves with it. Is it better/effective than any other Injector razor ? No, not really. But the experience in how something feels in your hand adds or takes away from the shave experience for me and I enjoy METAL tools. That's just me. I still enjoy the few other injectors I have but this is my favorite Injector. The Vintage Williams just gives such a nice shave and feel of a refreshed face when done. The Vintage Aqua Velva just adds to that and has a slight medicinal vetiver type scent to me versus the aquatic fresh scent you get from what we associate with Aqua Velva that's the Blue formula. Threw some modern EdT at the shave with the Spicebomb to wrap things up. Have a great day everyone !!

I'm often asked how the F compares to other Injectors.  I have to tell them that I have no idea since I've never used other Injectors.  I simply sought and collected the F-Type because its history and aesthetic appealed to me.  I turns out, I really really like the shave it provides (particularly when paired with the Personna 74). blade).

Vintage Wednesday

Pre: Shower

Brush: Vintage Butterscotch Culmak Plus 1950

Soap: Vintage Cussons Imperial Leather shaving cream 1950's

Razor: Schick B1 Repeating Razor 1927-32

Blade: Personna Injector (1)

Post shave: Alum rub, Cold water splash ,TC's Infused Witch Hazel

Balm: Barts Balm Rosemary and Sandalwood Balm

Aftershave: Proraso Red.

It really is a privilege to use this wonderful set up, the Star of the show being the The B1 repeating razor.

A wonderfully slick, lightly soapy scented Lather mixed up with the Woodridge Culmak Plus and Vintage cream.

I completed a 2 pass shave routine and knew i had a close finish, i did not bother with a touch up, i usually find the 1st shave with a new blade in this razor can be a bit harsh, some light indication from the alum rub confirming the closeness of the shave.

So a DFS+ finish and smiling from ear to ear, like the cat that got the cream.

I finished the shave with a splash of Proraso to help the post shave along.

The Williams Mug Soap lathered well with the SlimGem Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick M2 with a Personna Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
