The Jeeves of Hudson Street Conservatory Shave Stick was lathered well with the Jayaruh #371 Badger/Boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Superior Lather Catcher with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I was picked to be one of the lucky trialists of OSP's New Tallow Cream, this is the second shave with it. It is good stuff although i cannot nail the scent of it, Just a Natural earthy smell with a hint (sometimes) of sweetness in the background. It is very much like a soft croap.

Another slick lather today and just enough for the 3 pass shave, Today i dipped and twisted the tips of the damp brush into the small tin, the soap picks up very easily, then bowl mixed adding drops of water as i went, much more controlled than yesterday. The lather was thick and creamy with a nice gloss to it.
A cold water face wash to start the shave off carrying on with the cold water shaves, my skin really seems to like it.
3 passes for a very comfortable, BBS finish.

I had a great shave this morning with my curved top Gem squat head 1912. Mer Shavings Orange Fougère donkeys milk soap was whipped up well with a 26mm 2 band badger brush.

A very easy comfortable 2 pass shave this morning.
I know i have said i enjoy these cold water shaves, however, i don't think this brush does, the first time since its first use it lost a few hairs today, i will probably need to soak this in warm water to see if that helps.
