Quite a coincidence!
Alas! I don't have a band razor, so I can't ponder the idea further.
I might not dismiss band razors right away now. My curiosity has been stirred.

Thursday's Shave
Cold Water Rinse
Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap
Jayaruh #433
RazoRock Black Hawk
Feather Artist Club
CWR
Aqua Velva Iced Blue
The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #433 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the RazoRock Black Hawk Razor with a Feather Artist Club Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Iced Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Another really nice shave this morning, today using the bigger, older brother of yesterdays Unmentionable.
2 Passes WTG then ATG with a little touch up on the whirlpools for a smooth comfortable finish.
The MWF lather just seems to be getting better, i am not sure if it is because it is getting regular use so is not drying out too much, therefore easier to load? Could be wrong.
Stay safe and enjoy your day all.
