Saturday's Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap
Jayaruh #433
King Cobra
Feather Professional
CWR
Aqua Velva Iced Blue

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #433 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the King Cobra Razor with a Feather Professional Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Iced Blue AS. I purchased 2 damaged Micromatic razors to scavenge handles from. I drilled and tapped them with an internal thread that allows the use of an adapter screw I make. This makes it possible to use the handles with nearly every razor head I have that has a removable handle.
VERY cool Greg !!

Thank you. They are really nice to use and it was a fun project.

Well, well, well. What a revelation! [Image: woo.gif]

The Light Blade in the This particularly Vicious unmentionable has just given me the best shave i have had so far with any of my AC Unmentionable.
Very smooth and comfortable, i found the angle immediately and in hand did not seem as intimidating.
I completed My normal 2 pass shave routine.
The shave felt as smooth as you like, even though the feedback was subdued and i had to check the removed lather to see if any stubble was being taken off? - It was. When i rinsed off after the WTG pass i really could have stopped there. I went on to complete my mixed pass of ATG on the neck and throat and XTG on the Cheeks, chin and upper lip.
Bingo - the rinse off revealed a BBS finish, no irritation and not a mark on me.
A nice rub of balm and then the tester - the splash Confused - Some mild indication, nothing major.
I really enjoyed that. boxing.gif
I am not sure how the Light Blade would cope with thicker, more dense stubble that mine as these things really are YMMV, for me its a winning Combination.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All

Fine example of a B1 there Whiterook, probably my favourite vintage razor.

A wonderful shave today with the 1914, this vintage lady is very smooth with a really nice audio feedback from the shave letting me know its doing its job.
I am really enjoying the MWF so far, not a bad lather from it.
Stay safe and enjoy your day all.
