Not the greatest shave today, although the result i am very happy with.
A wonderful lather from the 1st use of the OSP No.8, i also like the scent, not too strong on this one, light and fresh.
I used the other half of the blade i used in the R28 yesterday which was smooth and comfortable, today this half felt prickly and sharp, not very nice, the result was a BBS finish from 3 full passes and no indication from the splash, maybe it just does not like the 7o'C black, anyway it has been banked.
So a nice post shave, the new splashes from James are nice but i do prefer the older versions.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All

Thanks Guys,
As always this set up gives a wonderfully smooth shave, it still amazes me how long the cream has lasted, it still performs excellently and produces a lovely slick lather.

I had a very pleasant shave with the Ever-Ready Streamline on loan from twhite. This was my third shave with it and I think I dialed in the shave angle. The Novelist is a mild but very pleasant soap and splash. It was a gift from a member on several forms I'm on for making some enders adapters for him.

Very nice,
The V2 base plate on this razor was hand reworked by one of the TSR gang to up the efficiency from the original, apparently too mild for use, i believe he reduced the length of the leading edge to bring the blade forward a touch. I find it just right for me, efficient and so forgiving.
3 passes for a BBS comfortable finish. The post shave routine leaving me soft and supple and smelling pretty good to boot.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All
