Thursday's Lather Catcher Shave
Cold Water Rinse
Morning TOST
Jayaruh #419 2-band Badger
1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher
Personna GEM SS PTFE
CWR
Granddad's Blend AS
The Morning TOST Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #419 2-band Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Cool pic. Nice shave. I missed the naming to TiBr. I will have to research that.
Jim - The Cackalacky Kid"Finally, shaving is fun again..." The Jayaruh Brushes - The Clan of Catchers
Pre: Shower
Brush: Simpson Commodore X1
Soap: Signature Soap Hibernia
Razor: Razorock ECO
Blade: 0.5 NOS Permasharp Supreme (4)
Post shave: Cold water splash, TC's Infused Witch Hazel
Balm: Barts Balm Lime Balm & Lotion
Aftershave: Mäurer & Wirtz 4711 EDC I really like this Hibernia soap, light, citrus and summery, a lovely face Lather today with the little X1 best, the scent of the soap ever present during the lather build up, plenty held in the little brush for the shave.
2 passes and a touch up on the whirlpools for an easy comfortable BBS finish, the blade has been banked on #4, just in case, no point in pushing it, i should say 3 shaves in an Unmentionable before this shave, so its done well.
A nice post shave continuing the citrus theme. very nice.
Boar Break-in
Another couple of test lathers with the new boars to aid the break in.
Again with the Williams Mug shaving soap.
Both Performed well. Torga TAJ
I think the lather from the Torga was better as i now realise the TAJ holds a bit more water, nothing a bit more whisking will not cure.
They are starting to look like used brushes now, i think i will start using them from next week, strictly Bowl lathering until the tips begin to split.
Stay Safe and enjoy your day All

I owe a big thanks to mayer57619 and twhite for today's fantastic shave. These are some of the most beautiful razors. One Old one New but they share a common and uncommon beauty. Common to each other but uncommon in the razor world. I love the mixture of materials and the engraved lines in the springs. As well as the rivets holding the springs in place. The two razors have a very different feel in the hand as well as the blade feel while shaving. However both razors shaved very well. I feel very lucky to be trusted to have them on loan. They are both remarkable razors.

Love the look of that handle and the ShaDE head. Did you modify the head yourself? I have one or two that I need to get around to modifying.

I did...just an extra head that was laying around without a handle. The handle came in a lot of 3 with a V1 aluminum Hawk razor...my 2nd one that I may need to sell or trade.
